you hold your breath in until you get to the next room

Room 2 - The fish come here to rise from the waterfalls and become dragons, the stray holds on for dear life as the newly reborn dragon leads her to the next room

The Stray is carried to an ancient chamber of carved stone where a luminous pool laps up against ancient architecture. The dragon deposits her unceremoniously on a ledge where a tunnel leads into darkness. The dragon then vanishes into the shimmering water to continue its journey of transformation, leaving The Stray to her own explorations.

ROOM 4 - Walking down the dark corridor following the distant light, The Stray emerges into a strange subway station bathed in a purple glow. The place seems to be crawling with life, just not the typical subway crowd. Actually who am I kidding this just what EVERY subway looks like. Left with no other options, The Stray waits patiently for the train to arrive to take her to the next room...unless something ELSE drags her there FIRST...

The stray exits the subway to find herself on a thin bridge, inside is the carvings of a king who doesn't exist as no king or lord ever conquered the labyrinth.
Even with riches and an army he did not make it far and the labyrinth stole his name, now he is fused to the wall forever as he watches the stray travel on...

"I walk inside, there are monsters who resemble me and attempt to speak in my tongue but they can only repeat what they have heard me say..."

The stray watches as the doppelgangers creep around her, their posture awkward and uncanny

"they have only heard me be afraid, so when they approach me and attempt to start conversation they can only scream in their strange attempt to communicate"

The stray makes a hasty move to the next room, feeling the strange green terrain under her feet but not thinking much of it.

...until the ground started moving and the ground separated revealing all of the snakes that made up the ground, the stray held on with her claws for dear life as she draws blood from the beast.

The top of these stairs gotta be around here somewhere right?

After climbing and descending stairs in all directions the stray finally exits and upon entering the next room is floating in a space of vast, turreted, clouds that blast out bad memories spanning from the past to the future. Sad moments, anxiety, fear, uncertainty, self doubt, etc... all buffet against the stray, trying to push her into the great void and prevent her feet from making purchase on any tangible surface.

In the next room, one with plaster walls, fluorescent lights, and carpeted flooring, the stray finds a comfortable spot to root and replenish her health. She’d sometimes catch wind of a muffled shriek coming from somewhere deeper within the maze, human or not, she knows not to let it take up stock in her mind. Best not to dwell, she thinks, no point in letting that ruin my appetite. Once finished, she neatly puts away her bento box and continues ever forward.

Room 11- The stray walks around the colorful streets of this room, passing by all the people who seem to have passed a long time ago but don't realize their little town has been swallowed by the labyrinth.

A peculiar character watches the stray from the rooftops, smiling widely at the stray.

It's clear to the stray that this stranger is not like all the other residents of the labyrinth she has met so far.

The Stranger leads the Stray down a narrow alley to a small door and enters the next room. The Stranger explains that this is the best room in all the labyrinth in that it contains many items one needs and many items one wants though it isn't clear which is which and only a single item may be taken upon leaving.

Room 13- in the end, the stray refused the stranger's offer to take an item from the last room 

"I wont be taking any gifts from the labyrinth, I know the labyrinth isn't that kind" 

the stranger follows the stray into the next room that is dark, but with a feeling that a spectator watches them both

"and what makes you so sure about the nature of the labyrinth?"

the stray answers but doesn't look back

"because everyone who has ever entered it has not been kind to it either"

This room looks promising. With luck the Stray and the Stranger may climb up and be out of the labyrinth, but maybe it is a trick. To go down would only put them deeper in the labyrinth but then things aren't as they seem in here. The air feels heavy and cold down here but shadows float across the intense light from above.

(i learned the hard way that chutney panels arent 1:1 aspect... ignore the goofy ass stretch)

Room 15: our stray decides to climb down with the stranger (offscreen) & they go deeper in the labyrinth, but they find another person struggling. it seems that the ladder leads to the next room, but that's only if you can sneak past these hand-things. it does look like the stray was right; the labyrinth isn't kind. does the stray & stranger save him or do they sneak off & leave him as bait?

Room 16- The Stray jumps down and manages to free the man from the hands that creeped up from the salted lake and the stranger giggles above her before opening a hole that leads elsewhere in the labyrinth 

"it was fun Stray, but my curiosity beckons me elsewhere in the labyrinth" 

and before the stray could answer they were already gone..

the stray then drops the man onto the ground

"we are still not safe, just stay close until we get to the next room, okay?" 

the man nods and stays close to the stray

Room 17 - After leading the man into the next room that is completely dark with only these gelatinous seaweeds illuminating the path to the next room, the stray starts to question the man 

“so what’s your deal anyways? why do you venture through this labyrinth?”

The man looks back and answers 

“I'm just lost and trying to survive, oh the name is Bones by the way” 

The stray still doesn’t seem to trust Bones as he stares at awe at how some of these weeds are twisted into fun shapes.

Room 19 - On the moon, every step feels like an eternity, a lesson in patience the stray neither has the time nor energy for. Her irritation is only worsened by Bone’s inability to stand still. 

“He jumps around like a monkey and giggles like a hyena,” she mutters to herself, “the labyrinth isn’t a place for games.” 

She clenches her teeth and continues on, hoping the exit is nearby.

after they depart from the moon room they enter the room of quilted land, the ground soft and delicate with rabbit hopping around in this truly serene place. 

Even the stray cannot help but lay down for a bit and watch the stars with Bone as the rabbits surround her 

“it’s amazing isn’t it?” Bone asks, glancing at Stray

“yeah, it is” she mumbles back as they continue to rest, best to enjoy this temporary peace while they still can

they walk a stage of an empty opera house. a light follows them as they make their way across. "you know, i used to play violin.. it was my dream to play on a stage like this." bone says.
"really?" the stray was actually quite intrigued. "you don't seem like a violin person."
bone answers "yep, i'm a pacifist." and laughs way too hard at his own joke.

"..."

In the next room Bone and Stray enter a pink and well maintained garden, and in the middle of the garden is a marble pavilion that has a coffin-like tub of water inside with said canine lady lying asleep inside in an ethereal and peaceful sleep. 

Bone looks at the woman with a sad look in his eyes

"I knew her, I came to this labyrinth with her but everyone except me was afflicted with the labyrinth's curse... and I ran away..."

"Room" 23... or is it the inside of a gigantic aquatic animal? They have no idea how they ended up there.. and neither have I!

Room 24: into a abyss of the eternal beneath the centre of the constellation Lyra, huddle steps abreast from the ring nebula, leading towards a glistening enterance of mystery.Where paticulary does this wormhole extemporaneously lead to?

After entering the wormhole, the pair find themselves in a forest of aspen trees that seem to reach endlessly into a sky devoid of stars. "I hear whispering, but I can't make out the words." Bones says to The Stray. Silver tendrils spring from the ground and wrap themselves around their ankles, trying to slow them down, but the two stick to the path and move forward, following it until they reach a trapdoor at the end.

Room 26: The two find themselves on a web over a seemingly massive abyss. They find a strange person calling herself a shaman of the Labyrinth. The Shaman tells them she can show them a vision, but they refuse. She laughs and tells them: "That is the right answer. My eyes go deep into the labyrinth, but even I have not seen the end of the labyrinth." The two look through the crystal ball and can spot the invisible door directly in front of it. They proceed on their journey.

Room 27- Bone and Stray stumble into a sandy desert, the walk for miles before finding something what was once buried now sticking out in the sand... it's a camera!

Stray wipes the sand away from the old lens while she asks Bone to come over to see the lucky find

"look! a camera!"

"does it still work?"

"hmm, it doesn't seem like it"

"let's keep it, maybe someone in a later room can fix it!"

“Stray-san!”

Bone and Stray weren’t especially close despite being classmates, in fact, they hardly made casual conversation. So it was only by luck that they had stayed well past school hours, and it was only by chance that Bone had noticed her.

“I’m surprised you’re here so late, Stray-san.”
“It was my turn to tend to the rabbit pen.”
“The rabbits must be grateful that you’re taking so much time to care for them.”
“I don’t think rabbits can be grateful.”
“Then… I’ll be grateful in their place.”
