Hey everyone, I'll try to be brief, but I just wanted a place for users to ask questions and have answers more easily.
I'll list a few helpful things here, and feel free to ask additional questions about the site and such!
LINKS TO HELPFUL THINGS
Link to the official Panel Chutney Discord:
https://discord.gg/5RgQhAfwjf
Link to the Official Panel Chutney Wiki (Yes there is also a 'wiki' button that takes you there but I'm not sure everyone really is super aware of it):
https://pchutney.com/wiki/doku.php
Link to Panel Jam web archive for which this site is based upon:
https://web.archive.org/web/20230319145932/https://www.paneljam.com/
Link to the official Panel Chutney Deviant Art Group:

Additional Input On Using Panel Chutney:
1. There are really no rules on Panel Chutney, but being decent to others is expected. (Actions such as posting explicit content without setting the strip to a nsfw strip, spamming the site, or just blatant harassment or trolling other users will not be tolerated.)
2. In regards to how to use the site, the sky is the limit! However, this site was made in the spirit of collaborating and creating together. Having fun and building one another up! So don't be afraid to pass strips to others and have fun!
3. There are many tools on the site! So when making a strip remember to explore all the options!
—You can set a strip to private. (though, when finished, it will be published publicly)
—You can enable uploads on a strip (If uploads are enabled, you can find the option to upload a picture under the 'FX' button, the Panel Chutney canvas size is 900x750 px)
But there's lots to try! Play around with things! And most importantly, have fun ^^
Edit: The links should work now X3 I was trying to be clever but it didn't let me!
^ `Scones and Cones` i think it supports some markdown, including links which is like
[link preview text here :3],(link here) (remember to remove the comma in between the preview text and the link!!!! :3 it won't work if you dont)
for example: [home page],(https://pchutney.com) will appear as [home page](https://pchutney.com)
(... i don't think it has the markdown preview thing like on drawception) (and also of course im not a markdown expert so there's that lol)
Additional Note:
Currently, the site founder, Peyo, is on an extended leave, and we don't know when he will return. So any changes or ideas on how to change the site to make it better will currently have to be on hold. The site should be plenty functional in its current state though, so don't be afraid to have fun!
Additional Thought: Currently getting access to edit the wiki is probably not possible, so if you want a character or something on the wiki, feel free to write up the stuff for it and hand it off to me and I'll try to put it up when I have the time. ^^
`124` It got too stressful for him, requests on site changes were being made, there were some differing opinions, and I think he just needed some time away for a mental health break! He'll probably return whenever he's ready! ^^
`Scones and Cones`
There is actually a BETTER archive ;)

`gooble` With regards to shoehorning, it depends.
Let me explain.
At the top level of the site moderation, the only real rule is to not be disrespectful and cause trouble really.
So is shoehorning allowed? It largely depends on the comic you're adding to.
The creator of a specific strip is basically the moderator of that comic.
So, if they have asked you not to shoehorn in their comic, then you shouldn't do that. But if it's not bothering the creator of the strip then there's no reason you can't. And obviously, if you make your own strips anything goes.
The important thing is that if you don't like someone's comics and such, you don't have to add to them. And if you don't want someone to add to your comic, you can set it so they can't add.
In short, try to respect others and honest mistakes happen, but do your best to consider others.
`Scones and Cones`
thanks for the respond, also that really happens is that i made a lil shoehorn and then someone create a stripe that avoids shoehorn and told me not the shoehorn, so i think i need to respect thirstys's decision :) even if she isnt the owner of the comic
