offset seems to get worse the further you get away from the middle, the actual drawing part leaning further and further away from the cursor and towards the middle as you get further away from the middle. not the exact middle tho it seems to be like towards the left

chrome and firefox seem to get the same results as chromium, so i guess just dissenter has problems for some reason maybe something in my end? might just have to take my losses and not use the browser for this site

hmm.. I'm not sure if i understand your first panel though.. how much of this you see? ![https://i.imgur.com/EtHIjfv.png](https://i.imgur.com/EtHIjfv.png) (so this is on my end with chrome in fullscreen with everything visible)

![](https://i.imgur.com/sqVXhnl.png "") that line going through the canvas is as far down as I could see, so I effectively only saw half the canvas also my guess for the offset was that the viewport and the actual area it detects drawing input are different sizes and positioned slightly differently from each other, but chances are its something much more silly

also zooming out just made everything smaller, meanwhile the canvas was covering the same amount of the screen. this combined with the fact that the comments section doesnt work on that browser makes me think that the site is treating it as a mobile device other drawing websites work on it fine

you came very very close (so close I declare you guessed it) and it was silly indeed: the canvas black border was counted into the canvas size (and the hidden canvas you actually draw onto didn't had one .. so they were different size)

oh that's the name of the browser.. i feel silly now 😓 it seems to be discontinued though.. (i couldn't find an official site with download at least) .. maybe we can live without dissenter support? (for now)

and to think the whole point of chromium was to make all browsers work the same way when it comes to javascript (oops I mean html5)
