  * herbert is a land shark: a cannonball with large teeth and large backfin (plus limbs, eyes etc  )

** Three Friends Lore **

  * Herbert is one of the three friends (along with [[lore:characters:character_tabytha_taylor|Tabby]] and [[lore:characters:character_patrick_ator|Pat]]) who go on holiday together and it always goes wrong 
  * works as a florist 
  * went to same High School with Tabby
  * favourite food is ham
  * used to be roommates with Pat
  * first appeared   in issue #6  The Three Friends Go To The Moon

  * spouse: Claire von Chomp (daughter of the rival flower shops owner, childhood friends, married in secret)
  * father of 6 young kids (3 boys 3 girls, not introduced yet)
  * goes on seperate vacations with family (for safety reasons)
  * never went to university as a student but used to be the groundskeeper at one   
  * land sharks are banned from all casinos: they still have the electroreceptors of their sea dwelling ancestors and can tell playing cards apart just by being near them
