  * the pun police is an evil inter-dimensional police force that fights against puns
  * they are fuzzy brown balls filled with pure hate
  * appearance: brown hairy ball with hairy human feet, black eyes and floating robotic arms (covered with a white glove) and police hat
  * they only tend to appear though when I cannot think of a good gag and a strip has been stalled for a long time
  * they have nothing to do with the Punic wars
  * neither the Greek-Punic or Roman-Punic one
  * or the Punic people in general
  * they fight against puns which is a form of word-play
  * that really should be outlawed
