• Herbert is one of the three friends (along with Tabby and Pat) who go on holiday together and it always goes wrong
• works as a florist
• went to same High School with Tabby
• favourite food is ham
• used to be roommates with Pat
• first appeared in issue #6 The Three Friends Go To The Moon

• spouse: Claire von Chomp (daughter of the rival flower shops owner, childhood friends, married in secret)

• land sharks are banned from all casinos: they still have the electroreceptors of their sea dwelling ancestors and can tell playing cards apart just by being near them
