I'm sure it was just a convenience for someone and no mischief was involved 🤔 (and i'm also sure you know that and just making a joke that is flying over my head .. but i'm too tired to tell 🤔)
anyway most of these updates will be probably only coming around dec 8-ish (I will be on holiday from work all through dec after that and will finally have time for this stuff 👍)

no worries, I want to add new stuff too;
and I'm afraid a full rewrite (or just some refit) is long overdue - I just simply don't have the energy or the time to do it 🤔

the only thing that really standing in the way of that one is the backup system 🤔
I need to rethink it to work better just don't have any good ideas for it yet (main problem is I reused it to save space and the backups are also the animation layers etc.)
(new features are more and more hard to add now because I succesfully coded myself into the corner 😔)

for now I can only put this in a 'wish-list'
(instead of my todo list)
so far increasing the canvas size caused slowdown everytime
(which is why the original increase needed so much testing)
adding this feature probably involves rethinking the drawing tool from the ground up 🤔
(right now it's beyond my technical capabilities)
but I guess you could give this a test run:
something like with copy enabled each artist could extend the picture in the previous panel?
(and in the future we could put in an option later and potentially turn it into a game mode where by default it hides the previous panels and only show the last panel, maybe does the copy by default etc.)
of course this would be a much smaller scale and kind of disappointing compared to the original idea 🤔

if you have a suggestion for some part of the site then sure (I don't really have plans myself and prefer to just use css to format stuff to keep things simple 🤔 )
I think `raz!!!!` said something about wanting to do the buttons for the mobile view (not sure if he still wants to)
and `Veum` suggested a better background format (something like they have on newgrounds)

I'm glad that you are eager to help but I would prefer to clean it up a lot more before letting anyone else at it (kind of a catch of 22 I know, it's messy code but I know where everything is)

I thought about that since the last time you mentioned
so far the most convenient way seem to be to have a seperate button to save the current settings as default
and maybe I could store the settings in javascript on the client side 🤔
another slightly less convenient idea is to have a make sequel button that just makes a copy for ones strips settings? (like a 'make copy' button) I guess we could then put these so called stencils into their own group (and access them in 'groups')
or an even simpler solution is to have allow copy and multidraw and so on enabled by default 🤔
