House of Knives, `Electra` ? :D

Thanks `TeeEffDee` ! It started out as scribbles, no perspective planning, just went with the flow and slowly started to look like something 😆 The shading really helped it pop a bit with added depth. Love that scene by the way, when she’s collecting overdue rent from the residents, ha ha. Snake handling/knife throw scene just before the chase on foot is one of my favourites 😁 Awesome submission as always Peyo, I have never watched that one, will have to watch 😁👍

Excellent idea 😁👍 things include enemies too perhaps? Like a poopshroomed Gumba?

Great opportunity for the world itself to transform though 😆 Having swallowed the poopshroom and all, only makes sense.

Wonderful idea and incredible Xenomorph, TFD! 😁 Love the warm and cool lighting! I typed a message on my tablet, but doesn’t appear to work 😅 Works on mobile though, just not on my iPad. Mine is supposed to be a tribute to the movie: Kung Fu Hustle. Love Stephen Chows films, I have too many favourite movies, so my indecisiveness may have me submitting multiples in the future 😁 Tried a different style, very rough with a monochrome background. Good fun!

Cheers, Battery, thank you! Yeah, the reference I used had a slightly translucent mantis, I was afraid I couldn’t capture that well enough, but came along ok, especially after I was done. Part way through, I scratched my head a few times thinking how I’m going to get the talons many colours in there, in the end I just altered the anatomy a little for the sake of time 😆 Think it’s missing one leg as well, ha ha. Thanks for the great advice `battery` ! Gave it my best, but towards the end my wrist was begging me to chill so I rushed the legs a bit in terms of shading. But I love the new tools Peyo added, made the process so much more enjoyable, and I am surprised it did not take as long as I anticipated 😁 Beautiful work everyone, I hope to join you all in future painting panels!

Wonderful! Thanks `Carrot^abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqr new line` ! It did give me a merged layers version with a white background when I went in to edit, but a few minutes of erasing the white background then doing as you said, deleting the BG layer, worked just fine 👌😁

Damn, I forgot about the backdrop as well 😅 I turned off the Background layer to make it transparent, thought that was all I Had to do, guessing I should have also activated the backdrop?

Thanks `battery` , cheers, that means a lot coming from an artist like you! Couldn’t agree more, too much to say, ha ha. I would totally benefit from being more concise. I feel like if I get my drawings to say more for me; how I set the scene, body language, expressions (practicing this at the moment) etc. I can minimize the number of words I put down. `Peyo` , what you have done so far is already above and beyond, if you ever feel the pressure man, consider where the site is at now is already incredibly usable and feature packed, as cool as it would be to see the site’s UI reach premium level aesthetics, doubt many would feel it’s necessary to keep them excited to draw here; can only speak for myself, but I think the site is perfect as is 😁👌

No apology necessary, `Peyo` ! I never leave a PanelJam drawing in progress, since I fear it will be gone when I return, but your stability here is so good, I find myself getting up and wandering around when drawing on here 😅 On the bright side, my excessive time made for a good test of stability of the site mid-drawing 😁

No! It messed up Sean’s tears! Forgive me Sean, was going to draw a chest full of tangerines initially, so that’s what inspired the tears 😅 I’m not sure why but I got a “claim error” @Peyo; could it have been due to my claim time expiring mid-drawing? I did step away for a few hours at one point, and returned without any issues. Only upon hitting submit. Cheers, Peyo, regardless of that, it was as stable as can be, lots of fun drawing this 😁 @Battery, was inspired by your text bubble style, so tried to replicate it best I could, feel like it’s clearer to read than my usual mess of text bubbles 😆 Love your comic style by the way.
