I'm working on some new pages; not sure where to put them yet but they are functional: [recently starred](/latest_star) [recently liked](/latest_like) (trying to make a sort of news feed -- kind of a replacement for getting a mention for every star and every like)

there was an update for the drawing tool (bigger canvas, better zoom, bigger preview) let me know if I broke anything or if it behaves oddly (it's supposed to improve things on big 4k monitors .. but I don't have one so I'm not sure about it)

I added a fix to the markdown image links .. but turns out the browser also caches javascript files (and css too.. to make things interesting I suppose).. so it might take some time until the fix is visible (even if you do a reload on the page)

I'm making a list of the remaining bugs that still need to be fixed, these are only the ones that I remember that still need fixing.. (please add any I forgot .. or any new ones you find) - do we still have bugs with submitting drawings? (there were reports of white screen after pressing the submit button, not being able to press the button etc.) (update: turns out this happens when there was something wrong with the claim -- not sure how to solve it but now you get an error message) - Elle reported a bug on her school computer (I assume a chromebook variant?) that I could not reproduce yet and happens when switching between tabs during drawing [https://prnt.sc/J2mt3XuI7ERM](https://prnt.sc/J2mt3XuI7ERM) - there are still problems with some touchpad devices where gui items are off screen (I remember Painovoima and Carrot reporting about these) (update: from the screenshots Painovoima sent me 👍 it seems to happen on portrait mode on tablets .. there is a quick fix now but it might be better to completely re-arrange the tools for portrait) - 4k monitors need to zoom in to use the drawing tools [under testing] - the caching issue (or avatar refresh issue) is supposedly solved now(?) (at least I have not heard any recent complaints) - I broke the markdowns and empty bracket links and images e.g []() ![]() no longer work [X]

yes I'm afraid that is another case of each browser being unique (despite nearly all of them using chromium) anyway, thanks for testing it! #👍

ok.. all timestamps are replaced now .. seems to work ok on firefox (it was quite bizarre, it was missing a 'T' before the time part)

thank you! at least this part works.. on firefox I still got 'invalid time' .. this won't be as easy as I hoped..

now testing timestamps (for comments only so far) please post something and then .. uhh post again or edit to tell me if the time is accurate (edit: mine seems to be ok.. but it's also identical to the server time so I cannot be sure)

I replaced the markdown with a different lib it now has a very limited set (images, links and headers) but these should show up in the preview now (expect in 'new thread' that is)

turns out I broke the comment date display (nobody noticed so far) (edit: and it's fixed now) (edit2: it was noticed alright)

zoom seem to work on mobile .. that's a first only text left .. maybe we can live without it? (for now)

working on zooming .. surprisingly easy so far .. only problem is that the window scrollbar doesn't want to appear on mobile..

they recovered? nevermind then .. (and good for them too.. our highest inflation ever record is also safe I guess)

@Painovoima: possibly, but it would be probably 1 billion in Zimbabwean dollars only

also the new eraser tool can be used to remove the visible part of the layers (on the BG layer it just acts like the brush)

@SeanTrunks @Carrot and.. so with layers added things got more complicated: layer2 is the topmost layer layer1 is the middle layer botcanvas is now the background layer (no change) topcanvas still the brush preview layer (no change) tempErase is the extra layer needed for the eraser tool myCanvas is now used for submit the combined image as well (all new layers are 600x500 too)

bugs fixed so far: color picker now works with all layers, emoji now shows up in preview (if anyone finds more let me know)
