MindTheDark Template this looks nearly identical to the default one there supposed to be a way to turn it dark not sure if really needed for now the wiki uses this one

Klean Template I want to like this one but it has grey text on white backdrop that really doesn't work

DokuBook Template brings the wikipedia look but insists on its very own crappy and confusing sidebar

bs4simple this seemed good at first unfortunately it loses the sidebar for pages and insists on a large red triangle in headers for reasons unknown

also tried Notes Template which is a minimalist design so minimalist in fact that there are no log in or config buttons I could barely turn it off

that is a good catch.. I was under the impression that "ALL" means all users.. but turns out it means everyone (so it doesn't detect your IP it just let's everyone under the sun to edit.. and somehow that is the default) for now: you can still edit without logged in but I turned off file uploads for non-users (just in case)

`Painovoima` planning is what the smart and responsible people do (not how I roll) but there was not much effort on my part for the wiki: I ran an install script and it somehow worked

MediaWiki (the one used by wikipedia) is tricky because there are some php version shenanigans also there seem to be some sites where you can set up your own but that is Plan B .. (they looked rather shady to me like they advertise to be free but they mean free for max 3 users etc.)

ok guys: so the support got back to me but turns out I cannot just cancel buying a domain and had to select a different one instead I went with hooty.hu as that one was the runner up (or at least I remembered it to be) so.. we got it for a year .. what should we do with it?

so far I found some online Safari emulator thing (turns out that there are people who actually live off providing virtual devices for browser testing) it seems that the caching in Safari is crap: every time you change an images origin url it handles it as a new resource (and for an animation like this the number of resources just keep increasing) my theory is that this bug in Safari just keeps eating the resources and eventually causes the weird timing (it's just regular slowdown from too much processing)

`Painovoima` thank you for checking it! hmm.. it must be something dodgy with safari's javascript handling .. sounds like there might not be an error at all either and maybe the timing is just off? for now I can only guess .. not sure how to fix it yet

I suspect it maybe netscape navig- I mean the safari browser on windows there is only an ancient version where it doesn't even animate .. and I don't have a mac or iphone so I'm not sure how to test it: can you install any other browser (chrome or fox) on iphone? (if so does it have the same problem?) (also I checked on android with chrome and it seem to look fine on it.. at least on my phone.. even smoother than on desktop O.o)
